Capella Ubud is a hidden retreat tucked in the lush rainforests of Bali, near the sacred Wos River and a short drive from central Ubud. Inspired by 19th-century European explorers, the camp-style resort is made up of individual tented retreats, surrounded by dense jungle, sacred trees, and rice terraces. The atmosphere is calm, immersive, and deeply rooted in Balinese tradition, with every detail designed to honour the spirit of the land.
The camp features 23 tented retreats, each with a private saltwater pool, outdoor deck, and unique design touches inspired by history, culture, and nature. On-site experiences focus on relaxation, discovery, and connection—from tailored spa treatments and meditation to nature walks and storytelling sessions by the fire. The Auriga Wellness centre offers Balinese healing, body rituals, and quiet time in the jungle gym or rainforest sauna. You are encouraged to disconnect from daily distractions and reconnect with nature and self, surrounded by birdsong, rustling leaves, and gentle river sounds.
